Odysseus on his wanderings, floating above him like a bubble of pink colors. The pelican is his remaining companion or is it just a figurehead or part of the ship’s hull? King Odysseus has hung his crown on the mast, just as others hang their hats or caps on a coat rack. His destination is his home, and at some point Odysseus will realize that his journey is his home.
