The comic-cubist painting Liberty is a woman is an interpretation of the often quoted painting La Liberté guidant le peuple by Ferdinand Victor Eugène Delacroix – We live in turbulent times. I have taken THE Liberty as my theme.
The idea for this painting developed during the process of painting The Demo. The painting Liberty was first published in the group exhibition Eos in Vittoria (see above). There is a catalog for the exhibition.
